We are looking to install this unit into a desk top of a lectern depth of @125 mm on page 4 of the technical drawing it looks like the electric cable connection can swivel around to side entry rather than bottom entry so the cable can run through the deck top void is this correct can it become side entry once installed into the appature Also do you have any similar models that are side entry

Looking at the particular model, the cable entry is fixed. It comes in from the underside and there is no option to spin or swivel those cables to have them coming out horizontal. Obviously as it comes in on the underside, you could bend them from the base of the unit to go off horizontally but there is certainly no functionality to have them pivot around in the unit itself. Unfortunately I can’t think of a single product where a cable comes out anywhere other than from the underside, as generally speaking all these units mount from the top, so they won’t want to run the risk of cables fouling, if they were to be on the side.
