Automatic Pop up Socket | Now with 10A Fuses

Here at BPF, we’re pleased to announce that our popular Automatic Pop up Socket is now available with 10A fuses; in addition to our standard 3.15A fuse option:

Automatic Pop up Socket | Easy Operation

This stylish automatic pop up socket has a built-in spring-loaded mechanism enabling easy operation. When in a closed position, simply push on the top of the pop up socket and it will rise gently. When no longer required, simply push the top down again and it will latch into place, leaving the desktop clear and tidy.

Automatic Pop up Socket | Now for home & office use

This comprehensive pop up socket has been developed to accommodate for both home and office appliances; with 3.15A designed for office use, and now 10A designed for home usage.

Pop up socket features:

• 4 x individually fused sockets:  Powering your PC, laptops, monitors (etc).
• 2 x fast-charging USB ports: For charging digital devices such as tablets, cameras & smartphones.
• Ethernet RJ45 & HDMI sockets: Providing easy connectivity for your computer & laptop.
• QI Wireless Charging Plate: Built into the top, providing easy charging to  QI enabled phones.

Automatic Pop up Socket | Fuse Options

3.15A Fuses: This option has been designed primarily with commercial office us in mind, and complies with the office electric installation standard BS5733/A and BS6396. Before connecting with a device, please consider fuse limitations and appliance compatibility.

10A Fuses: This option has been designed for domestic use. However, please be aware that this unit is not IP rated and as with any electrical appliance, must be installed in conjunction with standard UK building regulations. Before connecting with a device, please consider fuse limitations and appliance compatibility.

Please Note: Both options have 4 x individually fused sockets which enable you to replace the Ø5×20mm 3.15A or 10A fuses with other high-rating fuses (e.g. 5A, 13A), should you wish to use this pop-up with appliances of 0.75 KW or over. However, please be aware that standard 13A fuses are 25mm long which is too long for this unit; subsequently, you would need to source a ‘special’ but please consult with an electrician, who can advise better.
